Help Students "Catch-Up" in Primary Academic Areas
Tutoring is a short term process intended to help a student "catch-up" in necessary skills or missing information in the primary academic areas. It should never be used as a long term solution. We offer clients in Columbia tutoring in math, dyslexia, reading comprehension, writing, and other tutoring services for students in-person or by online video conferencing.
Our tutoring service will be handled with the experience of a highly trained, licensed educational therapist who specializes in learning processes. If they see an underlying issue that is making the process of learning more difficult than it should be for a student, they will inform the DTI office who will then offer recommendations regarding those concerns. This may include a referral for formalized diagnostic evaluation to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses in their learning profile. There is no obligation to act on these recommendations, however.
